First, prepare the pizza/pretzel dough according to directions. Split the ball of dough into 4 equal parts.
Flour your work surface well, and grab one of your small dough portions.
Roll it out into a long log, and using a rolling pin, flatten it out.
Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips in the center of the log, then using some water to help, pinch the edges of the dough back together to enclose the filling.
Arrange the log in a U shape, cross the tails twice, and bring the tails back down to the center of the U to create a pretzel shape {you can see my image in the post for some guidance!}. Using a little more water, seal the ends of the pretzels together.
Repeat to make all your pretzels.
Preheat the oven to 500F.
In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil, and add the baking soda. Boil the pretzels, one at a time, for about 30 seconds on each side, then move to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the pretzels with the melted butter, and sprinkle more marshmallows and chocolate chips on top if you'd like.
Bake pretzels in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and toasted. Enjoy warm!
