- First, prepare the pizza/pretzel dough according to directions. Split the ball of dough into 4 equal parts.
- Flour your work surface well, and grab one of your small dough portions.
- Roll it out into a long log, and using a rolling pin, flatten it out.
- Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips in the center of the log, then using some water to help, pinch the edges of the dough back together to enclose the filling.
- Arrange the log in a U shape, cross the tails twice, and bring the tails back down to the center of the U to create a pretzel shape {you can see my image in the post for some guidance!}. Using a little more water, seal the ends of the pretzels together.
- Repeat to make all your pretzels.
- Preheat the oven to 500F.
- In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil, and add the baking soda. Boil the pretzels, one at a time, for about 30 seconds on each side, then move to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the pretzels with the melted butter, and sprinkle more marshmallows and chocolate chips on top if you'd like.
- Bake pretzels in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and toasted. Enjoy warm!
