First, prepare a 9x13 pan by either lining it with wax paper or spraying with nonstick spray. Set aside.
In a large nonstick pot, combine the sugar and corn syrup.
Turn the heat on medium-low, and whisk the mixture continuously until the sugar dissolves and the syrup is smooth and lump-free.
Add in the peanut butter, and whisk until smooth.
Add in all of the cereal, and mix into peanut butter-sugar mixture, crushing flakes slightly as you go.
Immediately pour mixture into your prepared pan. You can use a spoon or spatula sprayed with nonstick spray to help you smooth it down and even it out.
Now, prepare the topping. Place the chocolate chips in a small nonstick pan, and heat over medium heat, whisking continuously until melted and smooth.
Immediately pour the chocolate over the prepared bars, smoothing it down and evening it out.
Place bars in fridge for at least one hour before serving. Cut into pieces and enjoy!
