Ingredients

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon water or milk
  • 2 eggs
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F, and spray a 9×9 baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  • In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, butter, water/milk, and brown sugar. Microwave for 30-45 seconds, until everything is smooth and melted.
  • Let cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs, one at a time, and the vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Pour batter into your prepared pan, and bake for 25-30 minutes. You want a toothpick inserted in the center to come out with moist crumbs {but not liquid}. Let cool slightly.
  • If enjoyed right after baking, they will be very gooey! After they are cooled off, though, they will be soft and fudgy.
