    Victoria's Secret lingerie cookies

    Nov 17, 2013 · 1 Comment

So, last weekend, I got the opportunity to work with one of my favorite brands... Victoria's Secret PINK. And I am so excited to finally be able to share this with y'all! It was crazy and last minute and so much fun... I wouldn't have traded it for anything else! These cookies were definitely a labor of love, and while I really didn't need to add this chore onto my crazy weekend, I couldn't resist. I'm so glad I said yes!

I was really hesitant to say yes at first because, like I said, my weekend was already shaping up to be insane... my best friend and I drove to Dallas to run the Rugged Maniac 5k on Saturday, and the cookie event was on Sunday evening. Which meant I had to bake and decorate these cookies on Thursday night and Friday, because Saturday was going to be a muddy mess {which I will share when I get the pictures!}, and Sunday was going to be spent driving. Aaaaah!

I received the offer Thursday afternoon, so I ran to Hobby Lobby to get cutters, went to the store to stock up on supplies, and started baking right away! Between Thursday night and Friday morning, I was able to bake over 100 adorable lingerie cookies. But that was the easy part... what about decorating them?

My friend and I arrived at my parents' house in Dallas Friday night, so I made the icing right away and we started outlining and flooding. We left them to dry all night, and most of the day Saturday! Then Saturday, after our crazy, tiring, incredibly fun run {which we did on about 4 hours of sleep...}, we came home and I added all the bows and scalloping details.

We let them dry overnight again with a fan, and they were ready to go Sunday morning! We drove back to College Station and went straight to the event. Thankfully there was a table and trays ready for us, so that was one less thing to worry about! Phew. I'm tired just telling all of this back to you guys. It was a crazy, busy weekend but it was so much fun! These cookies turned out so adorable and I couldn't have been more pleased. A big, huge thank you to the Aggie Victoria's Secret PINK Campus Reps for this amazing opportunity! 🙂

Wanna make some cookies? Here is the recipe for the sugar cookies, and here is the frosting. Happy baking! 🙂
