I adore shrimp, and the true Italian in me is crazy about pizza, so as soon as I saw this recipe, I wanted to make it. Not to mention, I personally don’t like very much tomato sauce on my pizza, and this was tomato sauce-free!
This scrumptious dinner is multi-step, and requires a bit of planning ahead to give the pizza dough time to rise, but it’s so worth it. You also need a bit of extra time to pan-sear the shrimp, giving them a delicious, crispy crust, but that can easily be done while the dough is getting ready.
