There’s no need to head to the coffeeshop when you can make gourmet coffee right at home! This Raspberry Almond Cold Brew Latte combines sweet flavored coffee with almond milk and whipped coconut cream for a fancy, delicious drink!
Hi friends and welcome back for day three of #SpringSweetsWeek! Today, I have a sweet and simple recipe for you, Raspberry Almond Cold Brew Latte! If you’ve been missing your fancy coffeeshop drinks with what’s been going on, this homemade version is sure to hit the spot. I used Door County Coffee‘s Raspberry Almond Coffee and combined it with almond milk, vanilla syrup, and whipped coconut-almond cream for the ultimate fancy latte. I then sprinkled on some fresh raspberries and almond slivers for a fun finish!
You may remember I worked with Door County Coffee back in the fall for #FallFlavors week, and I was excited to create something with them again! I decided to stick with a drink this time, as it seems I’ve already made a lot of recipes with coffee. Who knew?! From coffee layer cake, to waffles, donuts, cinnamon rolls, tiramisu, creme brûlée… if it has coffee in it, I’ve already done it. Oop. But I am severely lacking in froofy drinks, so this raspberry almond cold brew filled that gap beautifully! The fact that it is super easy to make doesn’t hurt, either.
I sometimes find cold brew to be tricky to make, as most methods have you combine water and coffee in a large jar or pitcher, and then later filter it with coffee filters and sieves and the like. Altogether, it can be quite messy! In the name of science, I decided to try making cold brew in my french press, and what do you know… it worked perfectly! I simply combined one bag of raspberry almond coffee with cold water in my large french press, covered it with plastic, and set it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, I just had to press the coffee and ta-da! No mess and no fuss. If you’ve been hesitant to try cold brew coffee, this method is really the easiest ever. And if you’re not a fan of cold coffee, worry not – you can definitely heat the coffee up and enjoy it hot!

My recipes for #SpringSweetsWeek
- Monday: Vegan Turtle Layer Cake
- Tuesday: Vegan Orange Poppyseed Bundt Cake with Strawberry Icing
- Thursday: Raspberry Almond Cold Brew Latte
- Friday: Vegan Lemon Berry Sweet Rolls
- one 1.5oz bag Door County Raspberry Almond Coffee
- 8 cups cold water
- *for one latte*
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
- *for topping*
- 1 can coconut cream, chilled overnight
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp almond extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- slivered almonds and fresh raspberries
- The night before, prepare the cold brew coffee. Combine 1 bag of Door County Coffee with cold water in your French press (or another large pitcher/jar). Mix to combine, cover, and set in the fridge overnight. At this point, also place your can of coconut cream in the fridge to chill.
- The next day, you can filter the coffee! Either use the top of the French press, or pour the coffee through a fine mesh sieve lined with coffee filters. Your coffee is now ready to enjoy.
- For the whipped topping, carefully open the chilled can of coconut cream, and spoon out the solid coconut cream to a small bowl. Beat this with a hand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla and almond extracts, and finally the powdered sugar. Whisk everything together.
- To make a latte, combine the cold brew coffee with vanilla syrup and almond milk and mix. Top with a spoonful of the coconut cream, slivered almonds, and raspberries. Enjoy!
